The Seven Principles - Correspondence

"As it is above, so it is below; as it is below, so it is above"The Seven Principles - Correspondence

This law has to do with the similarity of wavelength of the various vibratory planes in the Universe. The same laws that govern dense matter act on subtle matter and vice-versa.

The Principle of Correspondence joins similar things because of their similar vibratory frequencies. It also explains the constant relationship between internal and external events.

There is a reciprocal influence between human beings and Nature and between our internal world and our material reality.  In this way, if we work on our external reality we will influence our internal world, and vice-versa.

Observe and Practice

All external events provoke internal changes. There are threads that unite the internal and the external, and which produces an exchange of energy between them.

Find the Law of Correspondence in the following statements and phrases of "popular wisdom":

  • Likes and dislikes are usually reciprocal.
  • Only when you change your internal attitude, can something different happen.
  • "The soul becomes ill before the body does."
  • "The eyes are the window to the soul."
  • "Bad things always come in twos."
  • "Tell me who you walk with, I’ll tell you who you are."
  • "When times are bad, smile brightly."

Exercise 1:

How Order Affects Your Mood:

  • When faced with exhaustion, mental confusion, stress, or feeling “scattered,” try putting order around you: on your desk, in a drawer, the clothes in your closet, etc …
  • Do this impeccably, focusing all of your attention on what you are doing and putting your best effort into it.
  • Observe what happens inside of you.
