Morals for The 21st Century in Arabic

Italian, Korean, Arabic and Russian readers now have the name of a Chilean author on the shelves of their bookstores, but unlike other Spanish speaking writers who have entered these diverse markets, this author does not write fiction. He writes about philosophy.  And now, the first book of thinker Dario Salas Sommer “The Secret Science” has just been translated into Korean and Italian, adding to his long list of publications in foreign languages. “Morals for the 21st Century” has also been translated into Arabic and Russian.

Under the pseudonym of John Baines, Dario Salas Sommer has written seven books on Operative Philosophy™ , which have been translated into close to a dozen languages including the latest translation into Arabic of “Morals for the 21stCentury”, his most recent masterpiece.  This book has been especially acclaimed by the Ministry of Culture in the Arab Emirates.  The “Science of Love” had already been published in Italian in the early 90’s.

“The Secret Science,” Dario Salas Sommer’ first book, was published as an independent edition in 1965. A few years later, the publishing rights were acquired by the prestigious publishing houses of Kier, Auyantepuy and Euroamerica, among others.  This resulted in over 15 editions in Spanish.  To date, ”The Secret Science” has been translated into English, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Latvian, German and Russian, and just recently, into  Italian and Korean.  In this book, Dario Salas Sommer introduces the reader to the path that can lead human beings to self-mastery and authentic personal development.  To this end, he states that the true meaning of life lies in the real possibility of a glorious and transcendental destiny: to achieve the conscious management of one’s own destiny.

For the author, these new translations are a source of joy: “The news of publications in new countries is an important achievement and recognition of my work.  The success it has had in such far away places amazes me, not only because of the amount of books sold, but also because it is good to know that my thoughts are universal and can help many people to improve their relationship with the world and with their fellow human beings.”
